“Medicine for goat!” “Afraid from wolfmens, afraid from sharks.” 2004’s The Terminal is a surprisingly quotable, oddly charming film, but it’s not what you’d expect from Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg.
Even more importantly, it forecasts a pivot in Tom’s once-immaculate filmography. He used to make all the right choices; now, he makes odd ones that don’t always pan out. It’s not getting dicey yet, but it will soon.
That doesn’t take away from his charming-as-heck performance as Viktor Navorski, though! Join us as we talk Terminal.
